For HMI tasks in the medium performance range, the 270 series offers a Touch Panel and an Operator Panel with 6” display. The Windows CE-based devices feature 4 MB of user memory and high-contrast TFT displays. Matching their more demanding application profile, the devices offer a wide range of interfaces, the option of using scripts and archives, and generally larger quantity structures.

SIMATIC HMI offers mounting compatible successors from the Comfort Panel family for both of the devices, which are higher performing but less expensive.
